Our fully portable FARO PowerGAGE CMM is designed with the production floor in mind to speed through the toughest measurement challenges and produce the most accurate results available. Shop-hardened and temperature compensated, the PowerGAGE allows anyone, anywhere to measure in 3-D with previously unheard of precision. Forget dragging parts to the Inspection Room, the lightweight and portable PowerGAGE mount directly on our machine tool and provides instant measurement data and GD&T documentation for all your parts, molds and assemblies.

The system includes an extremely accurate, “measure-it-where-you-make-it” 4ft. (1.2m) measurement arm; a CAD-based, powerful offline programming module and an easy-to-use “player” module. We can choose from several available CAD formats to import 3-D nominal data. Create virtual inspection sequences offline; add text, pictures and even video instructions to guide operators through the measurement process. Transfer our measurement programs to the production floor and execute them with the “Player” module. We can check basic geometry, inspect surfaces; get instant results right on the shop floor or perform more in-depth analysis and create comprehensive reports offline.
